Got Music Entertainment takes pride in our equipment. A lot of DJ's never worry about improving or upgraded their equipment. I have seen several DJ's who look like they cleaned out there garage, threw there so called equipment in a trailer and off they go to entertain you for some enormous price. We care! Take a look at what our set up looks like, it is professional! Below we have broken down our set up and are giving you a chance to "see what's under the hood."

Our Music: Everything is now completely digital. This means, no more scratched CD's skipping. We still have the ability to play CD's if you have them, but our music is kept on a hard drive that is easily maintainable and any song, title, or genre can be located in seconds. Currently we have several hundred gigs of music.

Our Laptop: We use a top of the line Toshiba laptop. Our software mixing program is the latest top of the line from PCDJ, the leading manufacturer in DJ software. This software allows the DJ to set up all the songs prior to being played, log all songs played, sort by genre, and organize all the music. PCDJ FX is basically a third DJ who makes sure the music gets played. Since we started using the laptop, the DJ's have more time to work with the crowd and has made taking requests a much easier task.

Our Speakers: We use B-52 speakers. These speakers each have two 15" woofers and a piercing loud tweeter. This speakers a very large and on wheels, which makes transport a breeze. The speakers stand about 4 feet tall and make a lot of noise. They our powered by a Crown Amp which ways nearly 60lbs by itself. This amp is top of the line and pushes nearly 2000 watts. Do not worry....you will hear us.

Our Lights: Got Music is proud of the light show that we offer our customers. Most DJ's do not realize the effect that lights have on a event. Our lights are the same style that you would find in a night club or a large scale music event. We have four DMX Intelligent lights called Pocket Scans. Each light displays 14 different colors and 15 different designs. Each light also has its own laser built in. All of the lights work together to provide an amazing display of colors that dance to the music. Don't let some DJ try to haggle the price of adding lights to your event. They are included in the price here!

Our Trailer: We carry all of our equipment in a 10' enclosed trailer.The equipment is protected by a carpeted floor and walls. The trailer is white and our graphics on the side.

  About Got Music Entertainment

Started in 1999 by Chris David and Harry Fair, Got Music Entertainment was a dream!  Chris and Harry were trained by a Veteran Houston DJ who taught them the ropes of the business and helped them organize equipment.  In a matter of weeks, Got Music Entertainment began booking jobs.  In 2000, Got Music Entertainment broke the Houston City Limits and began DJ’ing all over the Great State of Texas.  In 2003, all of the equipment was completely upgraded; in 2004, the company upgraded to an intelligent light show which set them above the rest.  In 2005, Got Music Entertainment transformed its wide variety of music into a completely digital setup powered by a computer.  Got Music Entertainment has been pleasing customers and guests for six years now and is continuing to make a name for themselves in the industry.
